The highlight of every kids dream… Toys!  Whether it be in a kids meal or given to them on special days, kids love toys.  Well, at least mine do.  I can go without them, since I’m the one who cleans them up- day after day, hour after hour.  But, I loved getting toys when I was younger, so how can I say no to toys. (:

A couple of weeks ago, I was invited to attend a bloggers brunch hosted by Child’s Play Communications. The yummy brunch was held at the beautiful Shade Hotel in Manhattan Beach, Ca.

On hand were different companies that wanted to connect with the awesomeness of Mommy Bloggers.  I had the chance to meet news bloggy friends and visit with others that I haven’t seen in a while.  I love connecting with bloggers personally, that otherwise I only see though the blogospher or social media. The sponsored companies were:

Bandai- Offering cool toys like Ben10, Harumika, Chef Kids, TamaTown and my personal favorite Pocoyo!

Cold Stone Creamery- They were there, at the ready with their delicious Oreo Cream Filling  ice cream cookie!

Dyson- I left the brunch with a mad craving to buy a Dyson! lol

Nickelodeon- They had toys from the famosa, Dora the Explorer. A staple her in my casa!

Pajama Jeans- Nice cozy PJ’s that look a lot like jeans!

Pottery Barn Kids- Showing off some of their cool summer product line.

Summit Products- This was the hit of the afternoon. With their great product for young explorers; Backyard Safari

Toyota- I got to test drive the Sienna.  I still daydream of me behind the wheel, driving around Manhattan Beach!

Temptress was there providing mini-makeovers.  This was heaven!

All of the sponsors offered great advice on how their product lines work.  Also, it was easy making connections with them under a relaxed atmosphere.  The afternoon ended with a whole lot of giveaways.

Look what I won…

Yes, I won that!! It was Christmas all over again.  This was just overflowing with Nickelodeon stuff.  My kids went cucu with this.

A very special gracias to the gals at Child’s Play, and to all the sponsors of the Bloggers Brunch here in L.A. for treating me to a very special afternoon!

**Disclaimer** I received several goodie bags with plenty of stuff for my kids (and mommy) to enjoy and these thoughts are my own.

What Did You Think?

  1. That’s a big loot! Now you have more toys to clean up. ;) j/k Enjoy-I’m sure your kiddos will!

  2. I am sure the kids were way too excited after seeing this basket! I love Catalina’s “more clean up” comment (:

Is it just me, or do you always win the loot???!?!?!

  3. No, not me..

It’s Ana who wins the “Good” loot!! (O: Gracias chicas, for you comments!!

  4. Holy Cow, you won the mother load!
