I’m blogging today from Dearborn, Michigan, in which I had the privilege of visiting a truck assembly line of Ford.

This is a quick blog post.

As we were making our way around the plant, I coudn’t help but think of my dad.  He loved american made cars.  LOVED THEM.  When I made my way home, with my first car, I knew he was going to be upset.  I came home with a VW cabriolet.  My dad went on and on about my mom and I not getting an american car.  “Mira que esos caros, no sirven para nada”.  I’ll never forget that day….lol

So imagine my surprise, when I got an invite for me to come out to Michigan, and learn all the safety features that Ford Motor Company has to offer.  I visited the plant where they assemble the F-150′s.  I saw the workers there doing their jobs, hechandole duro! Learned all about the History behind the Ford Rouge, and the man himself, Henry Ford.  All of a sudden, I felt that American Pride come over me.  The kind you feel when you hear the American Anthem, or see a beautiful American flag blowing in the wind.

My daddy would be SO proud..

*Disclaimer* This is a Sponsored trip by Ford Motor Company.  I was not paid for this post.  A special Gracias to Ford.

What Did You Think?

I think I would like your dad!
