Flipped: A story of growing up.  We all have have our own story.  Some as cute and sweet as this movie, others a little more full of drama.  I moved around a lot while growing up.  Well…. “school-wise” I did.  I went to 3 different elementary schools.   I didn’t get to make life long friends.  At the age of 12, I moved out of East L.A. and into a suburb of L.A..  This is where I grew up and finally made the life long friends (that I still have) and it’s where most of my memorable memories were made.  I didn’t not marry my first love, nor did I marry my high school sweetheart.  Still, how I met my husband, and how we came into our marriage is a whooooole other post.  What’s your story?

I tried to be “savvy” while they were trying to be “fashionable”.

First Day of School ’09

This year… I face any even BIGGER challenge.  I have all three kids going to school.

Yay for my sanity. Boooo for hubby’s pocket!

I (like I’m sure most of you) love a good bargain!  Especially, when it comes to the kids.  I don’t have the pleasure of  “hand me downs” since the boys are too far in age.  With Sarai… well, you know how that goes!

Marshalls and T.J.Maxx are great ways to go!  Getting brand names at a price I can afford.

I have several Marshalls close to me.  I can drive by and pick up some stuff like this! I can totally see Jonah liking the Cars School supplies.  For those with college kids, cool dorm decor and hip fashion!

I have been to T.J.Maxx here where I live, but I have yet to buy something there.  I just think I was in the shopping mood!  I have a prima who can spend h o u r s…. at these store and come out with bags full of stuff.  I wish I can be like that.  In reality, the way I shop is very simple. Get in, get what I need, get out.  Like I said, I have to been in a “shopping mood” to really get in the stores and shop.  T.J.Maxx is perfect for that!

See being a fashionista for the kids doesn’t have to hurt your pocket book. From backpacks to Chones to shoes… T.J.Maxx has you covered.
