On Monday I had the chance to go to the movies and see Tangled in 3D. And without giving too much away, I’m just going to say: SEE IT!!! It opens today, if you have nothing to do…. go and see it. Even my 12 year old son liked it. He tried to hide the fact that he was laughing through out the movie….

In this fresh take on the Rapunzel story, the infamous bandit Flynn Rider meets his match in the girl with the 70 feet of magical golden hair. I love the modern spin that Disney has put into the story of “Rapunzel”. If you can see it in 3D, I really recommend you do. My 3 and 5 year olds won’t put on the glasses for any movie. If you have kids that age, who don’t watch movies in 3D, then I suggest you watch the regular version.

Follow Tangled on Facebook and Twitter!

Tangled is funny, sweet, and super cute for kids of all ages. I LOVED it! (:

Flipped: A story of growing up. We all have have our own story. Some as cute and sweet as this movie, others a little more full of drama. I moved around a lot while growing up. Well…. “school-wise” I did. I went to 3 different elementary schools. I didn’t get to make life long friends. At the age of 12, I moved out of East L.A. and into a suburb of L.A.. This is where I grew up and finally made the life long friends (that I still have) and it’s where most of my memorable memories were made. I didn’t not marry my first love, nor did I marry my high school sweetheart. Still, how I met my husband, and how we came into our marriage is a whooooole other post. What’s your story?

Halloween comes early when two new collections of spooky Goosebumps® stories scream onto DVD September 7 . The Blob That Ate Everyone and Go Eat Worms! each feature three tales of horror based on author R.L. Stine’s best-selling Goosebumps books series, a global publishing phenomenon from Scholastic, Inc. that has sold over 300 million copies worldwide.

From its origins as a series of online cartoons, Diary of a Wimpy Kid exploded onto the pop culture scene when Jeff Kinney’s first novel was published in 2007. Coming to DVD and Blu-ray August 3. Selling over 30 million copies in print, Diary of a Wimpy Kid spent almost three years on The New York Times’ children’s best-seller list and has been translated into 33 languages.

One crazy night. The uproarious story of mistaken identity starring two of the world’s biggest comedic talents, Date Night arrives on Blu-ray and DVD August 10. Filled with non-stop laughs and outrageous situations, Date Night follows Steve Carell (“The Office”) and Tina Fey (“30 Rock”) as a sensible, loving couple with two kids and a house in suburban New Jersey. Their typical date nights include a run-of-the-mill evening with little to no romance, but one night they decide to reignite the spark by going to Manhattan’s hottest new restaurant… without a reservation. What happens next is a wild ride that goes hilariously awry, as they embark on a dangerous series of crazy adventures to save their lives, and their marriage.

Hailed by Sports Illustrated as “a damn good baseball movie” and ranked the #1 sports movie of all time*, Bull Durham hits a new high when it debuts on Blu-ray August 3 from MGM Home Entertainment. Covering all bases with critics, men and women alike, the film about sports and sex from writer/director Ron Shelton (White Men Can’t Jump, Cobb) stars Oscarâ winners Kevin Costner (Dances With Wolves, Mr. Brooks), Susan Sarandon (Enchanted, Dead Man Walking) and Tim Robbins (War of the Worlds, Mystic River).

The flawless and fashionable Joneses are the envy of their posh, suburban neighborhood filled with all the trappings of the upper middle class. They are the ultimate trendsetters with an endless supply of high-tech toys, designer clothes, fast cars and the latest gadgets.
The highest rated movie to premiere on Lifetime, Amish Grace arrives on DVD September 14. Based on a true story and the book Amish Grace: How Forgiveness Transcended Tragedy by Donald B. Kraybill, Steven M. Nolt, and David L. Weaver-Zercher, Amish Grace chronicles the community of Nickel Mines, Pennsylvania, forever changed when a gunman senselessly takes the lives of five girls in a schoolhouse shooting before taking his own life in October of 2006. What transpires takes the town by storm, as the media descend on the city and criticize its Amish leaders for their notion of unconditional forgiveness and their outreach of support to the gunman’s widow. Through the eyes of a grieving mother, Ida Graber (Kimberly Williams-Paisley; Father of the Bride films, ”According to Jim”), and other devastated families, the film explores the Amish community’s astonishing reaction of compassion to the horrific events that shook their town and tested their faith.
